When the government gave the go ahead for a new airport at the former RAF Finningley site in South Yorkshire, we were called in to work alongside Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council’s consultants Mouchel Parkman. Their task was to conduct a study into the transport for the area and how it would change to accommodate the new airport. So an extensive public consultation process was undertaken, which involved us producing literature, questionnaires, press and radio advertising and a mobile exhibition road show which travelled the area publicising the consultation and the options for change to the transport infrastructure and services. This was a highly detailed and technical project which was executed working within the creative guidelines of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.
